Katie Leikam, LCSW is Growing!
It’s been a momentous year and a half in solo practice here in Decatur, Ga and now in South Carolina as well. I have really appreciated getting to know all my clients and have had the opportunity to write many HRT and surgery letters for some great people. Now I- want to announce that I have formed a group private practice, True You Southeast, as my practice is adding an additional two clinicians to see clients beginning June 4th, 2018. True You Southeast will continue to be focused on providing affirming mental health therapy for the LGBQ and transgender communities.
Zoe Dale, LPC and Gregory Sterchi, LPC will be joining me to see clients for individual, couples and family sessions. Zoe and Gregory are currently accepting new referrals.
Meet Zoe
Zoe has a focus on the LGBTQ community and is committed to empowering individuals to live their lives in healthy, authentic, and fulfilling ways, for long-term wellness. Zoë previously worked for a community center in Atlanta that focuses on the LGBTQ community and those with HIV. Zoe believes the healing benefits in using art for finding deeper meaning are ever rewarding and is looking forward to working with clients from an experiential and insight-oriented approach. She can assist with relationship challenges, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, family conflict, life transitions, and problems with self-esteem. Zoe enjoys working with individuals, couples, families and groups. You can learn more about Zoe here.
Meet Gregory
Gregory has spent most of his career as a Licensed Professional Counselor working with at risk children and adolescents, with families – both biological families and families of choice, couples working to strengthen their relationships, and the LGBTQ community. He has extensive experience in trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy, sexuality and gender, and treatment for depression. Gregory believes that sharing your experience in a safe place and having someone listen – to really hear you – is the most healing thing about the therapeutic process. You can learn more about Gregory here.
