How long does therapy last?

Therapy is a process that includes a period of getting to know you and how I can best help you. There isn’t a minimum or maximum amount of sessions that you need to come to therapy.  The first session is an assessment where we will talk a bit about your history and current concerns and come up with a plan of action. Therapy is different for every person and the more you put in to each session the more you get out.

Can I use my Out of Network Insurance Benefits?

Yes. If you have out of network insurance benefits, I will file an insurance claim to your insurance company on your behalf for reimbursement to you for fees paid for our sessions. Out of network benefits usually reimburse a percentage of the fees paid for each session, around 50-70%, after meeting a deductible. Clients are responsible for follow up with insurance companies billed out of network for all claims.

Why self pay for services?

Self pay for therapy sessions allows clients to see a therapist without the use of insurance companies and the guidelines, session limits and without requiring a mental health diagnosis that comes with using insurance. Paying for your sessions allows more flexibility for couples and family therapy. It also allows for longer sessions or more frequent sessions if needed.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, and all major credit cards as forms of payment. I also accept most FSA and HSA cards for sessions.

Payment is due at the time of the service.

What is your fee for sessions?

My fee for a 50 minute session is $150.00

What is your cancellation policy?

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
