Gender Identity Consultation
I am available for peer consultation for working with the transgender community in person in Atlanta, GA and nationally through phone and video.
Are you worried what to say with a new transgender client? Do your clients wonder “what does a gender specialist do?” Do you want to be affirming with clients who are transgender or gender non conforming? Are you looking for guidance to support your clients transition? Do you need more information on writing hormone replacement letters or WPATH? Most importantly, if you have a client that is experiencing severe gender dysphoria, I will offer consultation for working through the dysphoria.
These questions need answers, consequently, I offer consultation for my peers for improved gender identity clinical skills. As a gender identity specialist, my consultation will enhance your clinical skills, explore your values, assist you with policy change and allow you to connect better with your clients or patients.
I have been working with and am a close ally with the transgender community since 2011. I am a member of WPATH (The World professional Association of Transgender Health), and follow Standards of Care version 7. Furthermore, I affirm clients rights to informed consent and provide information for them to do so. As a part of WPATH GEI certification, I attend Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference annually. In process of WPATH GEI certification, I will receive 50 direct hours of education. Since transitioning is hard enough, I offer an affirming stance for working with clients.
I offer Consultation through phone, in person and via video for your convenience.
