Rates
Individual sessions are $275 for a 50-minute session.
I offer a free 10-minute consultation if you’d like to see if we might be a good fit before scheduling.
Insurance (Out-of-Network)
I am an out-of-network provider.
This means I don’t bill insurance directly, but many clients are able to use their out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement.
After each session, I provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company. Depending on your plan, you may be reimbursed for a portion of the session fee after meeting your deductible.
If you’re unsure about your coverage, you may want to ask your insurance provider:
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible, and has it been met?
- What percentage of sessions are reimbursed?
- Is there a limit on the number of sessions per year?
Clients are responsible for submitting claims and following up with their insurance company.
Payment
I accept all major credit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards.
Payment is processed at the time of each session.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that life happens and schedules can change.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are charged the full session fee to the card on file.
This policy allows me to offer that time to other clients who may be waiting for an appointment and helps maintain consistency in my schedule.
If something unexpected comes up, you’re always welcome to reach out. I approach these situations with understanding while also keeping this policy consistent.
By scheduling a session, you agree to this policy.
Why I Don’t Take Insurance
I choose to work as an out-of-network provider so I can offer more individualized, affirming, and specialized care.
When therapists work directly with insurance companies, they are often required to:
- assign a mental health diagnosis
- follow insurance-driven treatment guidelines
- limit the length or number of sessions
Working outside of insurance allows me to:
- tailor therapy to your specific needs
- provide gender-affirming care aligned with WPATH SOC 8
- support neurodivergent and complex experiences without restriction
- maintain a smaller caseload so I can be fully present with clients
